A one week intensive cultivated to introduce and submerge participants into the vast world of Concert Dance and Contemporary Work. Dancers will spend each day training in contemporary movement and phrase work, improvisation and movement exploration, floor work, repertoire, partnering, composition, and other experiences to challenge them and their perceptions, both physically and mentally. Learning from both Guest and Resident Faculty, dancers will have the opportunity to expand their understanding of their own artistic expression, get a glimpse of contemporary dance in a professional setting, all within a safe and supportive environment that encourages exploration and experimentation.
